Fujifilm X100VI: what is in the box, and what two-year cover includes

What's in the box?

The short answer

The X100VI box holds the camera, a rechargeable battery, a USB cable, a shoulder strap and the lens cap. Every X100VI from GrayPorter also carries two years of cover: repair or replacement for faults, claimed by phone or email.

What ships in the box

In the box

  • NP-W126S battery, about 450 shots per charge
  • USB-C cable, charges in camera, no wall plug included
  • Shoulder strap, with metal strap clips and the clip tool
  • Lens cap, push-on, easy to lose
  • Hot shoe cover, already fitted

What the cover includes

Faults in normal use for two years from delivery. Call or email a porter with the order number, we send a prepaid label, and we repair or replace.

That covers faults such as buttons that stop responding, a sensor or shutter fault, or a screen that fails without being dropped. We assess the camera when it arrives and confirm whether it will be repaired or replaced before any work starts.

What the cover does not include

Drops, water damage and loss. We say this first so nobody finds out on the day they need us.

Cosmetic wear, scratches and damage from sand or impacts are also not covered. If you travel to beaches or in rain, consider separate accident cover and add the adapter ring and filter for weather resistance.

Before you open the box

Photograph the seal and the serial label. The serial on the camera matches the one recorded on your order.

If the seal is damaged when the parcel arrives, take a photo before opening it and contact a porter the same day. Photos of the box, the seal and the serial label make any later claim faster.

Worth adding on day one

A spare battery and a protection filter. The adapter ring and filter are also what make the lens weather resistant.

A fast SD card is also needed; the camera does not come with one. A screen protector is optional. Leave the rest until you have used the camera for a week.

How to claim

Call or email a porter with your order number. We send a prepaid label, you send the camera, and we repair or replace it.

Most claims are resolved in a single conversation. Describe the fault, send a photo or short video if you can, and keep the original box if you still have it. We email you at each step until the camera is back with you.

Price and availability

The X100VI is $1,987.97 in black and $2,098.89 in silver at GrayPorter, about $1,003 and $860 less than other retailers. It has been hard to find since launch. We source it directly from other markets, inspect it, and ship it from the US, so both finishes are in stock and ship today.

Delivery and returns

Every camera ships factory-sealed from our US warehouse in Memphis, Tennessee, and is inspected before dispatch. Standard delivery is free and most orders arrive in 3 to 4 days. Express delivery usually takes about 2 days for a small fee, and you choose at checkout. If it is not right, you can return or exchange it within 30 days of delivery, with free return shipping in the USA. It needs to be new, unused and in its complete original packaging. Opened or used items may be refused or charged a restocking fee, so try the camera in the shop or ask a porter before you break the seal.

Who to talk to

Claims, returns and questions go to the same team. If you are unsure, message a porter. A real person answers by phone, email or WhatsApp, 4am to 9pm PST, Monday to Friday, and we reply within 24 hours. Keep your order number and the original box; both make a claim faster.
